Meet the Counseling Department

Danielle Travis, 6th - 8th Grade Guidance Counselor

Danielle earned her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Central Methodist College, and her master's degree in Secondary Guidance Counseling from Missouri Baptist University. She has worked in the St. Clair School District since 2003. She has had the opportunity to work in a number of our buildings which has allowed her to build relationships with the students and families of the community.

Danielle is a St. Clair native. She is married and currently raising her three children in St. Clair. When not working with St. Clair students, she stays busy with attending her children's sporting events and school activities.

Michelle Melville, School Teams Coordinator for Preferred Family Healthcare

Michelle graduated from the University of Missouri-St. Louis with a Bachelor's degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice, with a minor in Psychology. In addition, she is currently perusing her Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Maryville University. Michelle is certified as a Recognized Associate Substance Abuse Counselor II (RASAC II). She has worked for Preferred Family Healthcare since January of 2011.
